Our history

More than 34 years ago Michael Schmiederer took over the company WARIMEX. What began as a one-man business is today a successful, internationally active family business with over 60 employees and headquarters in Neuried / South Baden.

This also includes the entire Schmiederer family - in addition to his wife and two daughters, his son Tobias, who has managed the GmbH together with him since 2014. This family structure makes WARIMEX extremely flexible and powerful!

Our Mission

WARIMEX shows responsibility and wants to contribute to the preservation of an intact environment. WARIMEX does everything in its power to ensure that it has as little impact on the environment as possible. The topics of climate protection, environmental compatibility and sustainability are integrated into the business model .The company operates sustainable, for example by generating its own electricity, heat and hot water using solar energy.

In cooperation with ClimatePartner, WARIMEX compensates the remaining CO2 emissions and supports the climate protection project of the drinking water supply in Odisha, India.

The product range comprises almost 20,000 consumer and gift articles as well as free gifts from a wide variety of areas such as household, small electrical appliances, promotion as well as beauty and wellness.

The 34 registered trademarks in the household goods sector also include the world-famous cookware brands STONELINE® and STONE. These are the umbrella brands for over 1,500 different household products in a wide variety of shapes and colours. STONELINE® is the most widely broadcast cookware brand on TV worldwide.
Due to the internationalisation of the company, its products are distributed worldwide in more than 80 countries to large mail order houses, TV shopping channels and well-known retail companies.   New products are advertised on TV to support sales and are made known to millions of end customers through cooperation with magazine publishers and magazines.

Despite its global orientation, the company is rooted in the southern Baden region. A 2,400 square metre logistics centre was opened on the 35,000 square metre company site in summer 2012.   This enables WARIMEX to offer its trading partners a wide range of services such as warehousing, fulfillment and drop-shipping solutions.

Our STONELINE® pan has been awarded with the most famous German Awards and has been voted for "Best frying pans in Germany"! Consumers were able to choose between 36 well-known cookware brands and have opted for our brand. STONELINE® was able to stand out from all major competitors in terms of functionality and handling. We are very proud of that!
In the "KitchenInnovation of the Year®" award the consumers' verdict plays the main role.

"Best of the Best" in the category Cookware
Our STONELINE® Xtreme Wok was awarded with the consumer price "Kitchen Innovation of the Year® 2017". This award stands specifically for consumer-friendly products and services. The price is awarded by "LifeCare", which is an independent initiative. Their main goal is, to address and support people's needs, to noticeably improve the quality of life for everyone. Our wok was awarded with the title "Best of the Best", for the best product in the cookware category and is therefore one of the best German cookware!
Our STONELINE® die-cast pressure cooker convinced the 41-headed jury of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016.
Participants from 57 nations had registered about 5,200 products and innovations for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016. Only products which set themselves apart considerably through their excellent design receive the sought-after quality seal from the international Red Dot jury. We received the award „Winner 2016“.
Our STONELINE® FUTURE cookware convinced the 38-headed jury of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015.
The international experts discussed and assessed each of 4,928 entries from 56 nations. However, only the designs, which possessed high quality and innovative power earned an award from the jury. We received the award "Honourable Mention". The Honourable Mention stands for products with a well thought-out design solution.

WARIMEX GmbH has won the Promotional Gift Award 2014 in the category finishing technology for the cookware product line PRINT & COOK®.
WARIMEX uses a completely new and very prominent advertising space with PRINT & COOK®. Thanks to the innovative Teflon® Print Designs finishing technology from DuPont™, the inside of frying pans can now be printed. Special printing inks patented for DuPont™ are used, which show a high colour stability even at changing temperatures.
